SPIE-CFIA, AUGMENTED REALITY APPLICATION FOR INDUSTRY
DESCRIPTION
SPIE has recently made use of the services of Artefacto. In order to communicate innovatively on the CFIA trade fair, SPIE wanted to develop a 3D Augmented Reality app which shows a part of an industrial process about surimi manufacturing.
The app is compatible with both iOS and Android. Installed on a Tablet, it allows the user, during the trade fair, to present directly the 3D sections related to the baking and preparation of surimi with the help of a printed marker, using augmented reality technology.

A virtual navigation mode, also allows to discover these 3D sections through a schematic plan of the industrial line of SPIE. The user can discover the industrial process in more detail through information points which refer to detailed information sheets.
