EDF - Cyclife

 

THE CLIENT'S NEEDS

In the context of the decommissioning of its various nuclear power plants, EDF wishes to set up new mediation tools and communicate in an educational manner on the theme of "Waste Led Decommissioning", the flagship principle of its Cyclife brand.

These are :

• to present some of the major stages in the deconstruction of a nuclear power plant and the fate of the waste produced, highlighting the know-how, principles and facilities of the entities grouped under the Cyclife brand
• Promote the Cyclife brand and Waste Led Decommissioning: by explaining how it contributes to achieving a good waste-led strategy and project management
• communicate using a didactic and self-supporting medium
• facilitate mediation through a didactic 3D film.

For this, EDF called on Artefacto's expertise in 3D modelling.

THE SOLUTION PROVIDED BY ARTEFACTO

To meet this need, Artefacto produced a 5-minute film entirely in 3D presenting the different phases of deconstruction of a nuclear power plant. The film is translated into 3 languages for the English, German and Swedish teams.
